When Does Blood Time End
So we all know that clean-up is not considered part of the blood time, but what about bandaging after the bleeding is stopped. Case in point is a cut over the eye, coach puts a little pressure on it, it stops bleeding and he asks for the BT to be stopped, but then spends another minute putting gauze and tape around the head. Do you stop the BT when the blood stops trickling, or when they have finished the fix for what stopped the match, and let clean up be just that, cleaning up what has run down his face and onto the mat?

My interpretation of this is that it must be stopped by a means that will allow the wrestler to continue the match. We don't let a wrestler pinch his nose to stop a bloody nose and stop blood time. It has to be stopped with a nose plug. I would think the same applies here. He has to have it stopped by a means that will allow him to continue without bleeding, which would be a bandage of some sort.

I stop the blood clock when the treatment has stopped. If the blood is stopped and the trainers are taping or still doing something I let the clock continue to run. When the bleeding and treating are complete, I'll stop it and allow for clean up as required.
